Chain Reaction

Chain Reaction is a new look at the simple door chain. By utilising knowledge gained through the development of the Simpson Security System RDS Innovations has now developed and patented the Chain Reaction.

A door chain does not provide evidence of attack. A Chain Reaction does. View virtual animation.

Using a unique DNA trace element package the Chain Reaction fits next to your door, with it's own chain and when activated releases a DNA trace element as an atomised spray at the intruder. The device also produces a loud siren in the process. The DNA evidence that can be collected by police forces, and other law enforcement agencies puts the intruder at the scene of the crime. As the device can only be activated by attacking the door, there is a clear chain of evidence.

The Chain Reaction has received a extremely positive response from "Secured By Design" at the concept stage, proving the devices credentials before it has even reached the manufacturer.

The Chain Reaction will be installed by a registered installer network, ensuring that all unique DNA trace information is held on a national database that will be available to police authorities.

When a person is found to be marked by the DNA trace chemical, which shows up under ultra-violet light, a sample is taken that puts that person at the scene of an activated device.
